Biography

Moncho Gil was born in Galicia and played for Real Vigo Sporting and when the club merged with Real Fortuna FC in 1923 he played for its successor [Celta de Vigo]. He started his career as defender, but later also become a good winger. Gil earned his only two caps during the 1920 Olympics. Not much is known about his career, but he quit when he married in 1923.
