Donald Geary was a Connecticut native, attending Hamden High School, but was such a hockey star that he was recruited to play one season with the St. Catharines’ Falcons of the Ontario Junior Hockey League in 1945-46. Geary played in three games for the US at the 1948 Winter Olympics. In 1948-49 he played briefly for the New Haven Bears in the Atlantic Hockey League. |
