Carlo Galimberti had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1924 Olympics Middleweight class (492.5 kg); 2nd in the 1928 Olympics Middleweight class (332.5 kg); 2nd in the 1932 Olympics Middleweight class (340.0 kg). He set five middleweight world records from 1924-28 – one in the press, one in the clean & jerk, and three in the total.
