Ann Marie Flynn competed in the 1956 Olympics shortly after her high school graduation. As a high jumper she won two AAU Indoor titles in 1958-59, and also won the high jump gold medal at the 1959 Pan American Games. Flynn represented the German-American Athletic Club and attended Colorado State University. Later in life she continued to compete in masters track & field meets, but switched to throwing, competing in the shot put, discus throw, and hammer throw. Personal Best: HJ – 5-5 [1.65] (1959). |
