Biography

Ursel Finger started in 1952 for the Saar at the Helsinki Games and was eliminated in the qualification rounds of the long jump, missing by only 3 centimeters. She also missed the final of the 4×100 relay. Two years later she started at the European Championships, again for Saar, and was also eliminated in the qualifiying of the long jump and in the 4×100 relay. She then immigrated to the United States.

Personal Bests: 100 – 12.4 (1956); LJ – 5.66 (1954).
