Biography

Hans Estner helped West Germany win a bronze medal in the biathlon relay at the 1978 World Championship, and later skied on the bronze medal biathlon relay team at the 1980 Winter Olympics together with Franz Bernreiter, Peter Angerer and Gerd Winkler. In 1976 Estner won the German Championship in the 20 km biathlon event. Estner later ran a ski and sport shop in his hometown of Bad Wiessee.
