Arthur Essing turned professional in 1932, riding briefly in 1932-33 and then competing again after the war. He rode three times in the Tour of Germany, placing 16th in both 1930 (as an amateur) and 1947, and abandoning in 1948. Essing also competed as an amateur at the 1931 Ronde van Vlaanderen, finishing 36th. In 1932 he placed 30th in the Paris-Bruxelles race as a professional. |
