Biography

Prior to his Olympic appearance in Berlin, Hassan El-Far played as a midfielder for the Egyptian squad in their only game during the 1934 World Cup, when they lost 4-2 to Hungary, as well as in their two qualifiers against Palestine. Although he only played for El-Mokhtalat SC (since 1952 Al-Zamalek SC), he later became manager of local rival Al-Ahly.
