Biography

East German sprint canoer Manfred Ehrhardt married hurdler Annelie Jahns in 1970. In Mexico City in 1968 he missed the final in the kayak doubles over 1,000 metres, alongside Klaus Heinroth, as they were eliminated in the semi-finals despite having easily won their heat.
