Biography

Ramón Eguiazábal was born in the Basque Country and played for Real Unión in 1917-18 and from 1919 to the end of his career. In 1918-19 he was a member of [RCD Espanyol]. With Real Unión he was in three Copa del Rey (Spanish Cup) finals, winning in 1918 and 1924, beating [Real Madrid] in both occasions, but lost the 1922 final to [FC Barcelona]. Eguiazábal was in the line-up of the first-ever Spanish international match at the 1920 Olympics. In total he earned three caps, all during the 1920 Games.
