Biography

In the AAU 1,500 metres, Mike Durkin finished third in 1976 and second in 1980. In addition to competing in the 1976 Olympics, he finished third at the 1980 Olympic Trials, making the titular Olympic team that year.

Personal Bests: 800 – 1:47.68 (1980); 1,500 – 3:36.72 (1976); Mile – 3:56.7 (1975); 2 miles – 8:39.3i (1974); Steeplechase – 8:52.2 (1975).
