Biography

East German Rainer Dörner was a distance and steeplechaser, who won the GDR title in 1963, and was runner-up in 1960-62. He also competed in cross-country and the 5K. He worked as an educated graphic designer. He failed to qualify for the steeplechase final in 1964 at Tokio.

Personal Best: 3000S – 8:39.6 (1962).
