Konstantinos Doxiadis was well-known as the lead architect of the Pakistani cities of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. He studied at Berlin, Charlottenburg, and then in Athens. From 1936-45 he worked as an urban planner with the City of Athens. In the 1960s and 1970s he authored books, studies, and reports including those regarding the growth potential of the Great Lakes Megalopolis. |
