Biography

At the European Championships 50 kilometres walk Josef Doležal was disqualified in 1946 and finished fourth in 1950. At the 1954 European Championships he won a gold medal in the 10 kilometres track walk and a silver medal in the 50 kilometres walk.

Personal Bests: 10kmW – 43:32 (1953); 20kmW – 1-30:00 (1956); 50kmW – 4-15:14 (1957).
