Biography

Before World War I, Charles Dowson placed second in the AAA 2 mile walk in 1914 and in the first opst-war Championships in 1919 he was second in the 7 mile walk. In 1920 he won both events and competed in the two walks at the Olympics.

Personal Bests: 3000W – 13:28e (1920); 2 mile Walk – 14:32.0 (1920); 7 mile Walk – 53:31.2 (1919).
