Biography

Kostas Dimitriadis studied and worked in Paris and London. He was inspired by models from classical antiquity, as well as by more modern sculptors such as Auguste Rodin. He won the gold medal for his sculpture Finnish Discus Thrower. As he submitted two works with the same title it is not quite clear which of the two works won the prize.
