Biography

John Dimond represented the Washington Fencers Club. He won the AFLA Championship in the épée in 1924. Dimond was better known as a fencing coach, serving as head coach at the US Military Academy from 1923-48. He was coach of the US Olympic team in 1924, and coached the US Olympic modern pentathlon team in 1932 and 1936.
