Biography

Gary Dilley set a new Olympic record in the heats and semi-finals of the 200m backstroke at the 1964 Olympics, but Jed Graef improved on the records in the second semi-final and the final. While at Michigan State, Dilley won the NCAA outdoor backstroke double in 1965 and 1966.
