James Morgan Dennis was best known for his campaign for the Scottish whiskey producers Black & White, in which his dog motives “Black and White Scotties” played the central role. He primarily painted, illustrated and wrote about dogs.
One of his murals still hangs in the bar of the Sheraton Russell Hotel in New York. Dennis studied at the American School of Design in Boston.
