Biography

At the Pan American Games Ruy da Silva finished seventh (1975) and fifth (1979) in the 100 metres. At the 1979 Pan American Games he was also a member of the bronze medal winning 4×100 metres relay team (with Milton de Castro, Nelson dos Santos, and Altevir de Araújo Filho).

Personal Bests: 100 – 10.36 (1975); 200 – 20.76 (1976).
