Biography

Iris Davis ran sprints for Tennessee State University, winning four US Championships, the AAU 100 in 1971 and 1973 and the AAU Indoors at 60 yards in 1972-73. She won gold medals in the 100 metres and 4×100 metres (with Mattiline Render and the non-Olympians Orien Brown and Patricia Hawkins) at the 1971 Pan American Games, and ran on a world-record setting 4×110 yard relay team (with Mattiline Render and the non-Olympians Diane Hughes and Debbie Wedgeworth) in 1971.

Personal Bests: 100 – 11.27 (1972); 200 – 24.3 (1971).
