Biography

Hermine David, who studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris, was a granddaughter of the revolutionary painter Jacques Louis David. She was active in drawing and painting, and later married a Bulgarian national, artist Jules Pascin, who committed suicide in 1930.
