Biography

Dick Davies was a 6-1 (1.85) guard out of Louisiana State who was passed over by the NBA draft. As a result he joined up with the Goodyear Wingfoots AAU team and also got an excellent job as a management trainee with the Goodyear Company. While playing with the Wingfoots he was selected for the U.S. team in 1964 and won a gold medal with that team.
