Dora Corty-Mönkemeyer was a lithographer, illustrator, commercial artist and studied at the School of Applied Arts in Dresden from 1910-13. She designed a large number of posters and was considered one of the most renowned German poster artists. After 1949, she designed especially economic posters. She was married to painter Fritz Mönkemeyer. |
