Biography

Anne-Marie Colchen had the following podium finishes at major championships: 1st in the 1946 European Championships High Jump, 2nd in the 1946 European Championships 4×100 metres Relay (with the non-Olympians Claire Bressolles, Léa Caurla, and Monique Drichon). At the 1950 European Championships high jump Colchen finished sixth.

She was also a great basketball player, playing 63 international matches and being part of the team that won the bronze medal in 1953 World Championships.

Personal Best: HJ – 1.638 (1949).
