Biography

Valborg Christensen competed in the 1936 Olympics, and set one world record in 1937. She later married and had two sons and the family emigrated to Canada in 1953. There she worked as a swim teacher. After their retirement she and her husband, Erik Møller, later became involved in Masters Swimming events. At the 1990 World Masters Games, in Aarhus, Denmark, Val Moller (the name she used in Canada) won three gold medals in the 70+ age group.
