Margret Buscher took part in the 1958 European Championship over 800 metres and was nominated for the 1969 edition, but could not start due to the West German boycott. She earned two German titles over 10,000 metres cross-country in 1958 and 400 metres indoor in 1964 and had seven national runners-up in different distances. Her brothers Heinz and Paul were also national successful track and field athletes. Personal Best: 400 – 55.32 (1964). |
