Biography

Like all the crew members aboard Thomas Glen-CoatsHera in the 12-metre class at the 1908 Olympics, John Buchanan was a member of the Royal Clyde Yacht Club. He was a farmer and an enthusiastic sailor for many years who in 1936 won the Tarbert Cup sailing his 8-metre boat, Falcon.
