Biography

In addition to his Olympic appearance, Art Burns threw the discus for the US at the 1983 World Championships (8th), and the 1987 Pan American Games (5th). His best finish at the TAC Meet was second in 1985. He competed for the University of Colorado and Athletics West.

Personal Best: DT – 71.18 (233-6) (1983).
