Biography

John Brooks won the NCAA long jump title in 1933 for the University of Chicago, after having finished as runner-up in 1932. Between 1932 and 1937 he had five podium finishes in the long jump at the AAUs, but never won that title. He later competed for Ogden Park AC.

Personal Best: LJ – 7.76 (25-5½) (1935).
