Ben Bradshaw was the defending National Champion at the 1904 Olympics and he won his first two matches quite easily. Bradshaw later won a third AAU Championship by winning the 135 lb. class in 1907. He later worked as a printer and a tournament referee. Bradshaw coached wrestling at the Boys Club of New York in the 1920s and 30s.
