Biography

Louis Bonniot de Fleurac was French champion in the 4000 m steeplechase in 1901-1905 (1903 in 13:05.4), 1907, 1908, 1910, and 1911, in 10000 m 1906 (in 33:53.2) and 1908, and in 1500 m 1903. He also set the French record in 1904 in the 3000 metres (in 9:02.4). He later co-wrote, with Pierre Failliot, the definitive work in French on athletics, Les courses à pied et les concours athlétiques.

Personal Best: 1500 – 4:08.2 (1908).
