Ed Blood captained the University of New Hampshire (UNH) ski team, and competed in two Winter Olympics for the United States. Blood later became ski coach at UNH, holding that position for 30 years. An active contributor to skiing throughout his life, he was Chief of the Start and Finish Line at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics. Blood was inducted into the US National Ski Hall of Fame in 1967. |
