Biography

Norman Bingley was a member of the Royal Victoria Yacht Club at Cowes and crewed aboard Charles Rivett-Carnac’s Heroine in the 7-metre class at the 1908 Olympic Games. The only other entrant withdrew and their yacht-from the club which hosted the Olympic Regatta-won the title on a sail-over.
