Biography

Hurdler Gudrun Behrend placed fifth at the 1974 European Championships, winning bronze in 1978 and was also a member of a world record relay team in the 4×200 in 1976. Nevertheless she never managed to win a national title. Her daughter Katja Wakan also became a sprinter.

Personal Best: 100H – 12.73 (1978).
