Biography

Ed Bennett was a Finn sailor, competing in that class at the 1972 Olympics, after winning the US title in 1972. He was second at the North American Championships in the Finn in 1972, after placing fourth in 1971. Bennett graduated from Oregon State University in 1961 with a degree in business administration and electrical engineering. He later worked as a consulting engineer and management consultant. Bennett eventually took up windsurfing and competed in that event.
