Biography

Jürgen Barth was one of the most successful German track cyclists. He and his partner Rainer Müller won the Tandem World Championship in 1970 and additionally placed second at the Worlds in 1969 and 1971. Moreover he was a multiple German Sprint and Tandem-Champion. Barth’s best international individual performance was third in the sprint at the 1969 Grand Prix de Paris.
