Biography

Beside her Olympic result Inge Bauer won the bronze medal at the 1966 European Championships and won national titles in the pentathlon in 1964 and 1965, placing second in that event in 1966 and 1968. She also won the German long jump title in 1965 and was part of the winning relay team in 1968 in the 4×200 metres.
