Kim Attlesey was the daughter of Dick Attlesey, a former world record holder in the 120 yard hurdles, but Kim was a long jumper. She competed in the 1972 Olympic Games while still a student at Corona Del Mar High School in California. Kim Attlesey won the 1971 AAU title in the long jump.
