Biography

Paul Angenvoorth was the 1976 West German champion in the marathon and placed third in 1968 and 1977. In 1973 he also was runner-up over 10K. In 1971, 1975 and 1977 he succeeded in winning the Route du Vin (a half marathon in Luxembourg). He later married the marathoner and cross-country runner Manuela Preuß. Angenvoorth’s profession was as a trading employee.

Personal Best: Mar – 2-15:42 (1977).
