Biography

Lt. Col. Charles Anderson was lying second in the individual competition of the Three-Day Event after two days, but dropped to fourth in the individual placings. Anderson was a graduate of West Point, class of '38, and later became a career army officer, retiring in 1966, as a full colonel. He served with the Airborne Division during World War II.
