Heinrich Amsinck later became an architect working in a famous office at Hamburg together with his colleagues Carl Gustav Bensel and Johann Kamps. They were best known for their projects concerning the construction of apartments called "Neues Bauen" at Hamburg. The company Bensel, Kamps and Amsinck were among the most important firms for this kind of private construction and were also involved in church construction. As one of the renowned architecture offices in Hamburg, the firm survived World War I and the changeover to the early years of the Nazi Regime. When Amsinck was recruited for World War II in 1943 the office was liquidated. |
