Tempo-free stats have become all the rage in college basketball recently -- and why? Because they work! Reducing the influence of pace and adjusting for strength of schedule gives a clearer picture of which teams are truly the best in the country, which will help you make better NCAA Tournament picks. That's why we list our own version of schedule-adjusted, tempo-free ratings on our yearly Ratings pages.
