PI Season Finders with “Rough” Rookie Status Option

Posted by sean on January 21, 2013

Batting Season Finder -- - Baseball-Reference.com

I've added search options to the pitching and batting season finders which apply the at bat and innings pitched minimums for rookie status. This leaves out the "less than 45 days service time prior to Sept. 1" requirement which I simply can not compute at this time (nor do I ever expect to).

I've retroactively applied these standards back to the 1871 seasons, so some simple searches are now possible.

I really like the new options, keep up the good work.

I would not normally do this, but I am desperate. For the last several days, I have not been able to use any of the features that require the $36 subscription fee. If the fee renewal is due, I'm fine with that, but I can't get the subscription page to work, either. In fact, if I log in to a page, and then navigate to any other page, BB-Ref forgets that I was logged in, and puts up the "login" prompt again, instead of the "logout" one that tells me that I am logged in. No amount of logging in, in any sequence, helps any at all. I've tried for several days now. In fact, I can't even find a normal email address to send this plea for help to, which is why I'm trying this place, which is the wrong place, but might actually get a message through to you. I have absolutely failed to do that in any other way. In any case, could you please fix whatever is wrong with my account, and tell me if there is anything I need to do. My email account is "[email protected]."

    Thanks, - Brock Hanke
