On/Off Court Stats

Posted by Justin Kubatko on November 15, 2012

This is just a short post to let you know that late this morning I added on/off court stats for both players and teams to Basketball-Reference.com. Enjoy!

UPDATE: I added an option for career on/off splits as well.

  1. Good job. Will you add these off court plus/minus and net plus/minus numbers in the Play Index+?

Also, will it possible to search in the future for lineup data that had 2 or 3 players in it? For example, all lineups that feature Wade and leBron.

  2. @James: Thanks. I'm definitely going to do more with the play-by-play data, so please stay tuned.

  3. John Stockton was a +27.5 in the 2001 playoffs. AT 39!

I'm consistently amazed by this guy's under-the-radar greatness.

  4. This is awesome. It blows 82 Games out of the water. Two years ago I messaged them and questioned their legitimacy because of very infrequent updates. Your format is way less clunky as well.

    Thank you very much.
