With the big game quickly approaching, our Super Bowl Squares mobile app is now available at the iTunes store and the Android Marketplace.

If you're at a Super Bowl party in three weeks and there's a game of squares set up, this app will tell you which squares have the best chance of winning based on game data from 1994-2010. Also, if you're new to the game, there's a page devoted to basic rules that will help you navigate your first SB squares experience. The app costs $0.99, but will pay for itself many times over if you win the pool.

I'm starting to get fired up to see some Spring Training ball and talk some analytics.

With the announcement of the All-Pro and Pro Bowl teams, we've been able to calculate AV for the 2011 season, which you should now see on each player's page, or see the top 10 on the 2011 leaders page. We've also added an AV column to each team's roster page so you can see who was great on your team & who was bringing them down.

EDIT: As was noted in the comments below, there was an issue with rookies not being assigned positions in our database and thus not getting AV. Since AV is distributed amongst teammates, this threw everyone off -- but fear not, for it is now fixed!

2011 NFL All-Pros have been updated with this year's first- and second-team AP selections.

B-R: Hall of Fame Ballot History

This report looks at the top 8 vote-getters in Hall of Fame balloting each election and also shows the average number of votes per ballot for each season. Using this you can see how candidates like Bert Blyleven, Barry Larkin and others have progressed up the ballot year after year.

2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame page has been updated with the 15 finalists for this year's class.
